Contemporary Polish composer. At first, one of the leading representatives of the most modern,’avantgarde’ musical trends (To the Victims of Hiroshima – Threnody for 52 strings, St Luke Passion for narrator, soloists and orchestra), and later in his works got back to more traditional musical expression.
For clarinet, he wrote Three Miniatures for clarinet & Piano.

  1. Also, he wrote a Clarinet Concerto (adapted from his violin concerto by composer), a Clarinet Quartet and Sextet, all which are , in my opinion, better and sophisticated pieces than the miniatures. I hope the Quartet becomes a much better known piece.
