Berg is an Austrian composerHe was a member of the Second Viennese School with his teacher Arnold Schoenberg and another student, Anton WebernThe School represented the most modern musical trend between the two wars – expressionism
Most valuable work is his opera Wozzeck.
Four Pieces for Clarinet and Piano faithfully express his original and bizarre musical language, full of contrasts and with the absence of traditional tonality (so-called atonality).
