PREPARATIONS FOR PUBLIC PERFORMANCE

R. Lazić -Mali klarinetista  On the day of a public performance you should not tire yourself out. It is sufficient to play 15 minutes in the morning.

In the afternoon, make a so-called final rehearsal in the hall where the performance will take place.

The following will be specified there: where and how you will stand, the volume of playing, the intonation will also be checked, you will once again be reminded of the whole piece, the dynamics and the atmosphere (delight) that it should create, the message that the audience should receive, and so on.

The final rehearsal should be ended with the notion that playing is well and that, indeed, the maximum has been achieved in mastering the piece.
