1. Melancholy

Melancholy is the first part of my piece Two moods published in my book Merry Days in the Music School.

In Melancholy a clarinetist can nicely display all the qualities of his tone (especially in the lowest register, in which the clarinet sounds really great), can show his musicality and his ability to reproduce subtle dynamic shading.

Hilarity is a second part of the piece Two moods published in my book Merry Days in the Music School.

Buoyant, cheerful theme carried by staccato, full of dynamic and rhythmic contrasts, then virtuosic Cadenza are just a part of lively description of this movement.

1. Confession 2. Smile Trough the Tears

The composition From my Intimate Diary is the eighth in a row in the composition book of pieces Merry Days in the Music School written for clarinet and piano by Radivoj Lazić and Vlastimir Peričić.

The basic creative impulses of this piece in two movements were two of our beautiful old songs. For Confession – the song Ko je srce u te dirn‘o ( Who touched You Heart), and for Smile Through the Tears – the song Šešir moj (Hat of Mine).
